RAVENOL is the brand name of Ravensberger Schmierstoffvertrieb GmbH, founded in 1946 by Hans Triebel in the small town of Werther in Westphalia. Initially, the company focused on manufacturing and selling monograde engine oils and a range of industrial cleaning products. Over the years, the range of car care products continued to grow, and the company's lubricants expanded to include the production of semi-synthetic and fully synthetic oils.
