• Surplus returns can be made without a handling charge provided the part is returned in its undamaged original packaging within 14 days of Duckworth having received the part from JLR and is over £35 cost value.
• Returns over 14 days can be made up to 30 days provided they are over £35 cost value and returned in original undamaged packaging, these returns will carry a £30 handling charge per line.

To receive a refund for surplus parts, they should be unused and in their original condition. Packaging must not be damaged and should where possible be unopened, although carefully opened and resealed boxes can be returned. The acceptable condition of returned parts is outlined here:

• There should be no damage, marks or tears to the packaging.
• Please do not write on the packaging.
• If it is necessary to open a box please do so by carefully cutting only along the sealing tape along the box opening.
• Do not open any internal packaging.
• Reseal boxes for return carefully. Use similar coloured parcel tape to recover the original taped seal only, brown tape to cover brown tape, clear tape to cover clear tape.
• Do not add any additional tape to the box.
• No opened bagged packaging is acceptable for return.
• All coded or Vin-specific parts (for example keys, locksets, and door cards along with another made-to-order part.) Are unable to be cancelled once the order has been processed with JLR.
• Exchange units - these should be returned in the original packaging and drained of any fluid within 180 days from invoice date.
  • There must be no fire damage to parts.
  • The parts must be of JLR origin.
  • Exchange units containing oil or fluids must be drained before return (there is a £100 fee if parts are returned containing and any damage to other returns will be chargeable).
  • The part casing must not have cracks or holes.
  • The worn core must be secured within the packaging to prevent transit damage.
• Headlamp Returns - if the seals are removed JLR will not accept these items back for any return either new or damaged.
